Today many GPS devices support a Geocaching mode in which the Geocaching specific data like size, difficulty and cache description can be displayed. OutdoorNavigators supports the required GPX format, allowing you to load, edit or create and save cache descriptions that can be displayed on all GPS units supporting this format. You can directly load and visulaize .GPX files generated by the Geocaching.com web page.
Here is a description of how the fields of the edit mask are used:
Waypoint Name: usally the GCxxxxx code of the Geocache. If you create a private, unlisted cache we recommend to invent your own code, such as "MYxxxxx".
ID: this is an internal ID number to the Geocaching web site. If you create a private, unlisted cache, we recommend to use a unique value that is not used by any other active cache. Some GPS units will not display a Cache if this number exists multiple times. For private, unlisted caches you can use 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
Name: the display name of the Geocache.
Owner: the name of the Owner, must be a single owner name, typically matching a geocaching account name.
Hidden by: this can be a string with multiple names if more than one person hid this Geocache.
Owner ID: this is an internal ID number to the Geocaching web site. If you create a private, unlisted cache, we recommend to use a random value.
